The Extreme Academy is accredited by the BKSA (British Kite Surfing Association) and the BSA (British Surfing Association).
All of our instructors are qualified beach life guards. Throughout the year, we have three key instructors, each of whom is an excellent all-rounder in all the Extreme Academy sports and an expert in his chosen discipline:

Carl Coombes | Waveski
Carl Coombes, manager of the Extreme Academy, is a veteran of international waveski competitions and the former Waveski World Champion. He is also qualified to teach surf, traction kite and mountainboard.
Carl’s qualifications: Beach Life Guard, BSA, PKSF, ATBA.
